About the Foundation
- History
- Chartered in 1993, the Milwaukee/NARI Foundation was established to be the educational and charitable arm of the Milwaukee/NARI Home Improvement Council, Inc. The Foundation has contributed to the community through various charitable projects, and it has increased public awareness of the importance of professional standards in the remodeling industry.
- Purpose
- To engage in educational programs and activities for the benefit and enlightenment of the public with respect to home improvement and remodeling.
- Strategies
- To expend funds for the refinement and/or expansion of existing Milwaukee/NARI educational programs.
- To support scholarships and similar grants to assist in the professional training of individuals entering the home improvementand remodeling field.
- To embark on activities determined to be essential to ensure aconstant supply of qualified individuals who will pursue remodeling as a vocation.
- To expend funds to organizations deemed vital to the objectives of the Foundation
